Paradise Lost es el quinto tema del álbum homónimo del grupo Symphony X, grandes dentro del Metal Progresivo, y combina ese aire de balada junto con un sonido metálico y agresivo, perfectamente complementados.

Esta canción posee uno de los coros melódicos más bellos que haya escuchado.

El tema de apertura del disco Hopes And Fears. Somewhere Only We Know es una cancion sencilla, con un ritmo tranquilo y progresiones hermosas, fiel representante del Brit Pop taciturno.

Recuerdo que un vez la escuche, no recuerdo donde, y me quedo en la mente, solo que nunca supe su nombre. Debia tener unos 13 años cuando la escuche la primera vez. Y en la secundaria conoci a un amigo, que iba con su iPod a todos lados y me recomendo Keane. Tenia casi los mismos gustos musicales que yo, solo que yo estaba mas enfocado hacia Coldplay. Y bueno, me anime a escucharlos y... encontre la cancion que andaba buscando, y es la que les estoy mostrando ahora.

En sus letras habla sobre aquel lugar especial en el que te sientes a gusto. No es solamente un lugar fisico, puede ser un sentimiento, son palabras de Richard Hughes, baterista de la banda.
